Favorite Verses
and personal meaning
John 4:23 - Yet a
time is coming and has now come when the true
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and
truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the
Father seeks.
I believe in order to
worship God fully He desires us to worship both
in spirit and in truth. The spirit is the joy of
salvation and the Holy Spirit in you and the
truth is the Bible. Often times someone moves
according to feelings instead of knowing what
the Bible says about the subject. Its important
to live with both.
John 17:23 - This is eternal life, that
they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus
Christ whom You have sent.
This verse is what the entire Bible is about. It
is all about relationship...knowing God! This is
what Christ came for!
Personal - I
am married to a wonderful lady named
Kristen. I was a
member in the
United
States Air Force for 9.5 years. I am originally from Ohio where I
grew up. After I joined the Air Force I moved to
Great Falls (Malmstrom
AFB), Montana for 3 years as a Security
Police in the 490th Missile Squadron. That is
where I truly got to know the Lord. I then
changed jobs and became a training manager and
moved to Fayetteville (Pope
AFB), North Carolina. There I even grew more
in the Lord where He allowed me to be involved
in different ministries such as
Cliffdale Christian Center,
Manna Church,
FCC singles ministry, Evangelism Explosion,
Water2Wine Ministries and on-base ministry. I
then moved to
Osan AB, Korea. I am currently live at
Columbia (originally stationed at Shaw
AFB) SC. My wife and I just started
attending
GraceLife Church which is a church plant
from
GCI. Before we attended
Christian Life Assembly. We are still semi-active
with their young adults ministry (AKA
Ignite). I graduated from
Columbia International University with my
Masters of Divinity Pastoral Counseling and
Spiritual Formation.
Hobbies - I
enjoy driving around, playing on the computer. I
have started playing chess much more in the past
few years and enjoy it as well. I absolutely
love music and by personal conviction 99% of my
music is Christian. I have been a Christian DJ a
few times. My favorite form of music is rap
followed by praise and worship followed. I don't
like country that much however. I also enjoy hanging
out with friends, pool and bowling. My favorite
online game is
Star Wars Galaxies. I can also be found
sometimes gaming on
Yahoo Games (either chess, pinochle, or
cribbage and a few other card games). Lets go
play sometime. I also believe that the internet
is a powerful tool for witnessing and edifying
believers. In addition to all that I enjoy going
to school and learning. |
Did you come up with your own nickname?
Why don't you use the "o" in the name Bullfrg?
You wear a wedding band on your right hand? Why?
Why are you such a smart-alec?
How long have you been a Christian?
Did you come up with your own nickname?
No I didn't. It originally started in Montana with my friends
who used the song Joy to the World by Three Dog Night (it
started by Jeremiah was a Bullfrog). However I also adapted the
name with an old Sunday School song that started by "Bullfrogs
and butterflies both been born again". Then I also made an
acronym for the name Bullfrg by borrowing part of the popular
bracelet, FROG (Fully Rely On God) and so I just added the BULL
part standing for Believer Unworthy Lifer Lover Fully Rely on
God.

Why don't you use the "o" in the name Bullfrg?
Everyone uses the "o" so I try to be the exception. I think
the "o" is really overrated. So therefore I don't use it.

You wear a wedding band on your right hand?
Why?
I wear a silver wedding ring on my right finger for several
symbolic reasons. The Bible compares believers to being the
Bride of Christ so therefore I keep in mind that I am His Bride
and should remember that in all my dealings. The reason that it
is on my right hand is more symbolic of how I in relationship to
God.

Why are you such a smart-alec?
Well I was raised in Ohio so really that's a big reason why I
think with the upbringing. I would like to say on my behalf that
I try not to tear anyone down and do it in love. My old Spanish
teacher, Senora Budding, used to say "Jeronimo, when you are
picked on you are truly loved." So keep that in mind. But saying
all that, thanks for noticing I am touched.

How long have you been a Christian?
I don't really have a date that I became a Christian. I was
raised a Lutheran when I was a child and I know I was then,
however I really didn't live it as an active relationship. I
knew Jesus died for my sins but didn't know anymore than that.
When I moved to Montana I started to grow and began to live a
more committed life to Christ. Now don't get me wrong I am not
perfect but with God's grace I am growing. Praise to be Him.
